The hull of Crusader - KY 995, as it was built in Kent in the late Eighties. Originally a 40ft long design called the Fat Fisher to fit under the old 10m rule. The hull remained unsold and was eventually shortened to under 10m overall and fitted out as the Crusader.
was towed north by the st adrian KY360 both owned by David tod of cellardyke lay for a few years in anstruther harbour before being fitted out by him and his youngest son david the overhang of the stern was cut away hence she is now under the 10 mtr her engine is from the st adrian 2 ky202 which was re-engined due to a heating mishap and was re-engine on insurance instructions
she is as broad as she is long
D tod,s other son andrew has the st adrian 2 now. Hence all the boats are of the same livery colours
