I think that they have it wrong regarding decommissioning, "All decommissioning is unfair and should be resisted" is what they say.
I can only speak for myself and this area, We needed including in the latest decommissioning scheme to enable diversification into other fisheries to give us a future.
The market for our fish is poor, we have no ice, a dock full of pleasure craft and we have no chiller, our grounds are being taken over by gas storage, wind farms, pipelines and other developments but according to the paid axe men we don't fish there, this being something that the mfa and so called fishermens representatives don't argue with.
I will be surprised if we are still here this time next year.
Decommissioning is a usefull tool if administered properly,the idiots in London should be resisted!

Overall second place in the ballot!!! A slightly increased % of the vote and 13 MEP's (an increase of 1 on last time). Just hope it's not too little, too late.
