Thanks Davie one of her steaming down the coast will do fine I must say breaks my heart to see her converted into a living boat as does it to see all the old boats I seen about whilst fishing
Seeing her brought back a lot of very good memories if I could rewind my life would do it all over again in a second

Not exactly what you are looking for but the link shows her recent configuration and at least she hasnt been broken up.

    Cheers stontamar
Should get a good painting from it
Came on here to see some of the old Scottish fleet and being honest it is heartbreaking to see so many of the old boats from all over being desecrated
Just seen one of my uncle grieves old boat the storm drift BA187 lying on a slipway in scabster torn to shreds he would turn in his grave as would many other of the old skippers
I was going to buy one of the old boats a few years ago and use it for pleasure around the Clyde I really wish I had now as I said being a Dunure boy who grew up in the industry it is really sad viewing

If the boats off the register there's no tickets needed , only thing I'd recommend is doing the RYA inshore VHF ( took 3 days when I did it in 2000 ) , most nav stuff now can be run on a laptop with free software and a gps dongle ( the bit you plug in )

As for price I've seen some advertised for 5-6,000 some up at 10,000 all depends on condition

    Thanks for that information Davy
Price seems good and would go on courses before I took to the water as changed days from my day if Decca radar and graphs
Would get my brother involved as he is now away from the fishing and training fisherman through lifeboat institution he is all over the country so he would know any decent boats that are going for sale and what courses to go on
    Again thanks for info
