Default George Jack , Skipper of the David John A169 , crossed the bar

My Uncle George Jack sadly passed away yesterday , May 13th , at the age of 77 in Banff Hospital after having treatment for stomach cancer over the last 18 months. His funeral will be next week I'm just waiting to hear from my Cousins as to when.

George was skipper of the David John from 1975 until we sold her in December 1988 ( due to George having ill health ). He then went to work at the Marine Lab from 1989 first on the Clupea then as Fishing Mate then Fishing Skipper of the Scotia retiring in February of 1998.
