Celebrating the maritime heritage of Rosses Point with a host of maritime events and sea shanty performers the international shanty and seafaring festival takes place at Rosses Point from 15th to 17th of June, proceeds in aid of the RNLI.

Taking place in "The Capital of North Sligo" Grange, from 20th to 24th June the Celtic Fringe Festival remembers the Spanish Armada and particularly the shipwreck of three armada ships on Streedagh Strand and the story of Captain Francesco de Cuellar. Events include art drama music seafood sunday and an International Armada Symposium. There may even be a pint or two consumed...LoL.
