The crew of a fishing boat has been rescued after it ran aground off the west coast of Scotland.

A spokeswoman for Clyde Coastguard said the Gleaner II hit rocks in Oban Bay at about 1035 BST.

Oban Lifeboat was scrambled and the seven crew members were taken from the vessel, which was said to be listing. None of the crew was injured.

The coastguard said it was hoped the Gleaner II would refloat again at high tide, at about 2045 BST.

Correct - seen on a level keel and back alongside South pier back of 9pm, Monday evening

Hopefully they'll be back to work soon, She'llmost likely have to be surveyed and maybe put on the lift. Well as long as the crew are OK.
Seize the day, put no trust in tomorrow.
