    Exclamation Site maintenance downtime

The site will be offline from 2300 GMT tonight until around 11-1200hrs tomorrow ( Friday 26th November ). We are in the process of upgrading our physical server and hope that this will only take 12 hours but please do not be surprised if this takes a little longer. We hope to be back up and running fully by Friday afternoon and we will be upgrading the forum and gallery software in the near future as well but this can be done without the need to take the site offline.

New registrations will be suspended from 8pm ( UK time ) tonight to allow us to take a full back-up of the forum and user database and the gallery will be backed up after we take it offline at 2300 GMT.

Hopefully this upgrade will see the amount of software errors and glitch's drastically reduce in number and we ask that once we are back up and running any members suffering from problems please contact us using the admin@trawlerphotos.co.uk email address with your username and the details of any error message you have found.

We have had a small problem in that the tech guy that was going to do our update has been delayed so we have put off the server upgrade until Monday 29th November. Again we will be offline from 11pm UK time until around 1200hrs Tuesday 30th.

Well the server upgrade went as well as hoped if not a lot longer than we had first hoped for. The work to upgrade the server means that we had to change one of the settings meaning it will be 24 hours before everyone has access again ( the IP address was changed when it went onto the new server so that change has to work its way through the internet servers ).

We will be upgrading the forum and gallery software as soon as we can arrange it and along with the upgraded server this should eliminate the error messages and problems we have suffered from throughout this last year.

Thanks for your patience hopefully we will not go offline like this again
