    Aye the hackers put a couple dozen virus' on the server and we decided to shut it down completely until we'd repaired the damage, just took a lot longer than we'd hoped

    Sad to say, Andromeda née Pat Campbell is on the bottom. Efforts are being made to refloat her.

    After sitting on the bottom since last Sunday morning, she is back up again. Two 4" submersible pumps, five 2" and one 2 1/2" petrol.

    Something in the order of 500 tons an hour! Once she started to lift, it became easier.

    what caused her to sink? was a fine boat in her day, looked great varnished without the shelter deck

    After all these months - a reply!

    The latest theory is that a poor repair by the previous owner to a short section of planking was damaged by some dockside ironwork.

    This caused water to flow in and the deeper she went, the more dodgy areas admitted water as well.

    The full story has been posted elsewhere but if there is interest, I can repeat it here.

    aye you can do graham, was built for manx owner bill Campbell, ive always kept track of the boats from the manx fleet

    I remember her at fleetwood. In 1987 and wished i crewed on her
