the sailfin was one of six built at gateshead for the pelagic partnership north shields limited
she was designed as a sidewinder but re configured as a stern trawler before completion.
they were all built with two main engines that powered one screw.
her skipper was alfie(podger) brown of north shields,
second hand was toby smith, of north shields
third hand fred bowden north shields

    the others built there were
    blacktail, renamed farnham queen
    dorade r/n oulton queen
    sailfin r/n yoxford queen
    pelamis r/n stevangeren
    relko r/n vickers venture
    noblesse r/n john murray

pelamis, relko and noblesse had their hulls built at gateshead but were completed elsewhere.

hope this is of some use m8
