    Question 'Ormesby Queen' LT88

Can anyone help with a pic off the 'Ormesby Queen' LT88 . She was built by John Lewis & Son, Aberdeen for Talisman Trawlers Ltd., Lowestoft in 1954.
    Official No:184003
    Yard No: 246
    Length: 104
    Breadth: 22.1
    Depth: 10.9
    Net Tonnage: 65 Tons
    Gross Tonnage: 181 Tons
    Engine No: 317
    Engine: 440 hp 6-cyl HRN6 2SCSA by Crossley Bros Ltd., Manchester .
As far as i'm aware she spent her entire career working out of Lowestoft and was scrapped in Blyth in 1970. I have found it hard to find pic's off the Talisman Trawler's of the era, does anyone know of a site i have not yet found? I was aboard the 'Ludham Queen' also which i think was a 'sister'.

Talisman trawlers as you probably know are no more , i think a fair bet for pictures would be the lowestoft maritime museum www.lowestoftmaritimemuseum.org.uk i think they have a fair archive so it may be worth getting in touch

    Thumbs up 'Ormesby Queen' LT88

Thanks for that info. I had tried before and got as far as a web site for Talismans Trawlers.........i was suprised that they had very few pics of there ships ! Seems quite common that a lot off Companies and there fleets have 'vanished' as such. No pic off her though her details are in the 'aberdeenships' web site. I was aboard 3 off the 'Queens' i.e. 'Ormesby' , 'Ludham' and the 'Carlton' in the late 60's.
