THE Scottish Seafood Showcase will take place on June 9, where it will form an integral part of the West End Festival's Byers Road Parade. Showcased traders will have their own bespoke arena, which will be which will bring together the very best seafood providers in the country.

The free event highlights the vast seafood scene and produce available within the City, with traders providing fantastic dishes to eat on the day. As well as the food available on the day there will also be the Market Place, which will feature the best producers across 20 trading stalls selling products to take home and enjoy.

As ever the main attraction will be the Showcase display area where there will be cookery demonstrations hosted by some of the City's most prominent chefs. It is here that you will see the chef's secrets and the best ways to create masterpieces of your own.

Throughout the Showcase there will be activities geared at getting families cooking and eating together, as well as trying to encourage Glaswegians to buy better with Zero Waste Scotland and Seafood Scotland supporting the event.

In addition to the great food available, there will be live music from the Seafood Buskers.
