DOn't have copies, but there's a place that might not far from you. Keel Row books in north shields. Haven't been in for a couple of years, and know its changed hands recently, but they did have a few last time I was there. Might be worth a try. Only other place locally, and don't if thats still there either but there used to be a shop called motor books on heaton road, bottom end near shields road) specialised in military books and anything motor or nautical related

graham a lot as been said about the PANSY and what i am trying to find out is the one that fished from Hartlepool when i was at school in 1961.
my father was skipper of her at that time but is no longer alive to ask questions. i am sure the registration was SY29 and she was owned by ROY KIRTON from Sunderland.
the photos i have seen of the other boats are not the same as they have the big rudder. the one at hartlepool was seining and trawling and tthe rudder was all under water.i was wanting to look it up.
iwould be very gratefull if you could do that for me.she also had Kelvin T4 120hp i know that for certain.

cheers Duke

All 1961 gives is Pansy SY29, callsign GWGD, 27 net t., Roy Kirton, Sunderland. 1965 gives identical. 1956 gives same info but owned Alexander Bruel, Stornoway. 1971 not listed under that name.

Hi, George, thanks for that. I was answering Duke's original question about the other Pansy, SY reg. The one that you mention was built at Macduff around 1936, i think. I Remember the then owner in 2000ish showing me round the boat in Whitehills. It was a pleasure boat by then. Hope all is well with you, have not forgotten that I still owe you a dinner!:p
