Going to be there for a few weeks yet by the looks of it. They're going to take off all the fuel ( 180t + 20t lube oil ) then looking at dredging out a channel to tow her down ( and to dig out her port side to get her on an even keel ) as the beach there is very shallow right out

Quite an attraction for the public! Just like the one that beached near Rotterdam this weekend. Her anchors started to drag last saturdaymorning. The wind was 10 to 11 Beaufort with waves of 6 to 8 metres. Here are some pictures of her (NOT taken by me):

how the hell does that thing stay upright in the water? :eek:

Even on a calm day, the amount of turning forces that lot must apply must be huge, wouldn't fancy being aboard when there's a bit of a roll on
