I am trying to trace photograhs and any details of the following boat:-

Bountiful - Built approx 1966 at Forbes yard Sandhaven/Fraserburgh
Length approx 72 Ft - cruiser stern
Built for Albert and Davy Reid -Orkney
Painted White when built
Owned for a while by Willie Ritchie - Headway before being sold
to Ireland North or South?

Have found a photo of Bountiful B377 Built by Forbes in 1979 LOA 18.5m but do not think this is the boat.
Does anyone have a contact for David Linkie who took this photograph

Thanks
Bill

Davie,
Just got more info
Vessel was sold from Orkney to Fraserburgh and became Honey Dew and had a whaleback
Owners sold this boat probably early 1970 's when they had ordered a new Tynedraft steel boat but not built as yard went bust.

Davie,
Struck lucky with D Linkie who sent attached photo
Have you any photos of boat probably as Honey Dew out of Fraserburgh
Willie says that he bought boat when owners had ordered a Tynedraft boat but yard went burst so that must have been about 1972ish

I don't think i'll have a photo of her Bill , don't recognise her at all and i've not long been thru most of my photo's.

I'll have another look but I doubt i'll have one. I'll ask around Bill see what I can find out.

Could this be the boat you are looking for? BOUNTIFU K67 built 1969 Forbes, Sandhaven. She became HONEYDEW, FR339; FAIRLINE, PD302; HEADWAY, PD302; UTOPIA, D567.
During this time she was damaged by fire and later rebuilt.
The last I heard of her was that she was being converted. Parts of the fire damage could still be see behind panelling.

There seems to be some confusion about this boat ...
I am the current owner of the Valkyrie, ex Bounteous Sea FR399, ex Honeydew FR399 she was not FAIRLINE, PD302; HEADWAY, PD302; UTOPIA, D567 as far as I am aware as she went from ex Bounteous sea to decommissioning in 2002
the mast configuration is distinctly different from that shown of the PD302
