I am hoping that someone out there may be able to help me. I am looking for any information or photographs of a Zulu called "Star". I don't have a lot to go on, I have no idea if this was her origional name, and she was not registered at the time I bought her, about 23 years ago. She would be about 40 feet and when I bought her she was being used as a clam dive boat working out of Mallaig. She was in a sorry state, riddled with gribble worm and rotting from the deck down. She was fitted with a Gardner 5 LW, not origional I am sure! Over the next few years I rebuilt her, 50% reframe and replank, new deck etc but sadly I had to sell her due to moving abroad. I have no idea where she went. I shall post some pictures of her soon on the site in the hope that it may jog a memory.

Hello Kelvin 88

Did you manage to post any pictures yet of your old Zulu ?

Sorry I don't have any firm pointers, but a couple of long shots might be the following old West Coast Zulus which used to have STAR in their name;
- OCEAN STAR, CY 425
- STAR OF THE SEA, BRD 746, about 46ft

When did you sell your boat and to who ?

Do you have a Kelvin K4 stashed away somewhere now ?
